Does “child-led” mean the classroom becomes a free-for-all or that children just play all day?
Not at all.
Child-led teaching is intentional, not chaotic. It means you understand how children learn best and you design the environment, materials, and interactions to support deep thinking and meaningful play.
You’re still guiding. You’re still leading. You’re just doing it in a way that honors children’s curiosity instead of fighting against it.
